Professionalism in Early Childhood Education Settings September 22, 2022
Please Join us for Professionalism in Early Childhood Education Settings with Instructor Alyson Gryzb In this workshop we will examine characteristics of professionalism, including competence, respect, integrity, and appropriateness. We will look at our personal values, as well as our strengths and weaknesses, as ways to improve our competence as early childhood educators. We will also look at the NAEYC Code of Ethical Conduct Statement of Commitment and use that to guide our conduct when faced with difficult situations. Upon completion of this workshop participants will be able to A) define professionalism and at least three of its characteristics, B) state their personal values and strengths and how they relate to their professional image, and C) use the NAEYC Code of Ethical Conduct as a resource of ethical responsibility.
