Participants will learn about the importance of recognizing and respecting one’s identity and pronouns and why heteronormative biases restrict our ability to do so. Using inclusive and non-gendered language in classrooms, work, and on playing fields is paramount to learning, self-esteem, sense of self, and safety. Learn the significance of declaring your pronouns and walk away understanding gender neutral pronouns and why gender is beyond the binary.
