The Pyramid Model for supporting children with challenging behaviors is a tiered systems that includes universal practices, targeted supports, and intensive supports for children birth through 3rd grade. Module 1 Training focuses on Universal Supports for all children through nurturing and responsive relationships and high-quality environments. At the universal level we include the practices needed to ensure the promotion of the social development of all children including giving positive descriptive feedback, creating activities that include choices and are engaging, building your schedules and routines and planning for transition times.
