This ​training ​will ​focus ​on ​reflective ​practice ​as ​it ​relates ​to ​working ​with ​others ​in ​the ​early ​childhood ​professional ​field. ​The ​first ​session ​will ​focus ​on ​reflective ​practice ​as ​a ​director ​or ​mentor, ​and ​the ​second ​will ​focus ​on ​guiding ​and ​instructing ​others ​toward ​reflective ​practice.

This training is at the Montpelier ​CCV, 660 Elm Street in ​ ​Room ​130. This ​training ​uses ​a ​2+2+2 ​training ​design. ​There ​are ​three ​parts ​to ​this ​training: ​1. ​A ​two-hour ​in-person ​training ​session; ​2. ​A ​two-hour ​assignment ​practicing ​or ​implementing ​the ​training ​material; ​and ​3. ​Another ​two-hour ​in-person ​training ​session ​focused ​on ​reflection ​and ​next ​steps ​related ​to ​the ​training ​material. ​To ​receive ​the ​full ​6 ​training ​hours ​you ​must ​attend ​both ​in-person ​trainings ​and ​complete ​the ​independent ​assignment. ​ Fee: ​$15 ​for ​both ​in ​person ​sessions ​is ​payable ​by ​credit/debit ​card ​only. As ​per ​CCV ​policy, ​please ​do ​not ​bring ​children ​to ​this ​training. ​ Class ​size ​is ​limited ​to ​15. ​Minimum ​enrollment: ​8. ​ In order to receive accommodations for disabilities, training participants must communicate with the Northern Lights at CCV Americans with Disabilities Coordinator (http://ccv.edu/discover-resources/students-with-disabilities/).
