How often do you hear parents and caregivers use the phrase “power struggle” when discussing a complicated interaction with a child? What if we refocused the power struggle lens to understand what the child is trying to tell us? During this workshop, we will examine how to meet the needs of young children, especially when we are having difficulty understanding the why’s.

This can only happen when attendees are open to sharing their experiences, reflections, and ideas. Many organizations provide professional development for early childhood educators. Suppose you are seeking professional development only to obtain a certificate for credit hours. In that case, this workshop may not be the right fit. Workshop attendees are asked to be active participants throughout the entire session. This involves having your camera on for at least part of the session, taking an active role in small group conversations, and being fully present during the entire session. Please note: Ticket purchases are non-refundable. There are NO refunds, credits or exchanges. All virtual workshops are taught in a live format in the Eastern Time Zone (EST/EDT). They will not be recorded. Each person participating (viewing) the workshop needs to purchase a ticket.
