The daily interactions of the children in our care with the world around them form a basis for connection; with each other, with us as their teachers, their families, and ultimately, with their sense of mastery. This training will explore how the theories of Bronfenbrenner and Greenspan support relationships and learning across all developmental domains. Participants will understand using ecomaps, emergent curriculum webbing, and floor time skills. Wondering together with our students about what we observe each day challenges us as teachers to go with the children’s flow and can give us a foundation upon which to build our emergent curriculum, as well as nurture our own learning.
