Respect the Bubble: Learning About Personal Space Deb Norris February 21, 2022

Do you have students who struggle with giving their peers personal space? Understanding that each person needs a certain amount of space to feel comfortable can often be tough for your children. During this interactive workshop participants will learn techniques and strategies they can use in their own classroom setting to help their children learn to “Respect the Bubble”. During this workshop participants will: - Define Spatial Awareness and understand how it relates to personal space. - Identify students in their classrooms who are struggling with spatial awareness (personal space) describing where they need assistance. - Develop strategies for helping children grow in the area of personal space while modifying their current teaching practices to meet these needs.
