This interactive course is intended to help early childhood educators deepen their understanding of young children with selective mutism (SM). Attendees will gain a greater awareness of what SM is and what it isn’t; grow in their understanding of ways to support children with SM; gain skills for promoting communication; and learn strategies for working through tricky parts of the day.
