Social-Emotional Development of Infants and Toddlers provides strong foundational information about social-emotional milestones for infants and toddlers and the role adults play in helping young children establish positive and rewarding relationships with others. Participants will discuss using a social-emotional lens to examine environments and to analyze lesson plans.

Additional Information

This training uses a 2+2+2 training design. There are three parts to this training: 1) a two-hour in-person training session; 2) two-hour assignment practicing or implementing the training material; and 3) another two-hour in-person training session focused on reflection and next steps related to the training material. Per CCV Policy, please do not bring children to this training. In order to receive accommodations for disabilities, training participants should communicate with the Northern Lights at CCV Americans with Disabilities Coordinator (http://ccv.edu/discover-resources/students-with-disabilities/) at least two weeks before training begins. To receive the full 6 training hours you must attend both in-person trainings and complete the independent assignment.
