STEM Education in Our New World March 19, 2021
The pandemic has illuminated the shortfalls in our world. We have learned that our educational system is fragile. We have also learned that the public’s understanding of science is fragile, too. In this talk, scientist and author, Ainissa Ramirez, will explore how to re-engage young people with STEM in this brave new world. She will show why all citizens need to know STEM, and highlight the key STEM skills that citizens of the 21st century will need. She will also discuss her path in science and reflect on potential new practices in STEM education for the future.
