Step by Step Through the ECERS-3 | Item 17: Fine Motor April 21, 2021
Are you new to the ECERS-3? Have you been using it for a while, but still have questions about certain items in the scale? In this weekly webinar, we will break down the Early Childhood Environment Rating Scale, Third Edition, and discuss one item per week. Our presenter will spend 30 minutes explaining the item of the week leaving the last 15 minutes for questions. Participants can sign up for all sessions, or register for individual sessions based on information needed. **The May 6 session will cover Item 17: Fine Motor. We’ll explore fine motor materials, their accessibility to children, and how teachers can promote cognitive skills through their use in this session.**

This training is designed for child care staff working in a center-based environment with children ages 3-5. A copy of the ECERS-3, available from Amazon or Teachers College Press, is recommended for this training. The training is offered via Zoom, and a link will be sent in advance of the training date.
