Are you new to the ITERS-3? Have you been using it for a while, but still have questions about certain items in the scale? In this session, we will break down the Infant Toddler Environment Rating Scale, Third Edition. Our presenter will spend 30 minutes explaining the item of the week leaving the last 15 minutes for questions. Participants can sign up for all sessions, or register for individual sessions based on information needed. This session will cover Item 10: Encouraging Vocabulary. To build vocabulary and social-emotional skills, staff should engage in conversation with children throughout the day. In this session we’ll examine the expectations set forth by the ITERS-3 in regards to staff talking with children.
