Stories of Belonging: Using Children’s Literature to Promote Equity explores how to choose high quality books in order to cultivate a classroom library that represents diverse experiences. Specific tips to use when selecting various works will be explored, multiple resources will be featured, and numerous suggested children’s book titles will be shared as well. Lastly, effective ways to foster communication between children and their families regarding equity will be covered.
