Strengthening Business Practices: Marketing Your Program January 25, 2022
This training will strengthen early childhood and afterschool program leaders’ understanding of marketing tools, audiences, and elements necessary to develop a marketing plan. It encourages program leaders to tailor marketing practices to the audience they are trying to reach and to develop effective communication strategies to promote their services. Learning outcomes: Define external and internal audiences for the purposes of marketing. Identify elements of an environmental scan. Understand the difference between communicating features and communicating benefits. Use various marketing tools strategically. Understand the importance of building relationships and increasing communication with families to improve retention of enrolled families and referrals of prospective families.
