Supporting Neuro-Divergent Learners and Their Families Brendan Rooney

Sponsor: Vermont Association for the Education of Young Children (VTAEYC)
Instructor: Ashley Bessette

This four-part professional development series is designed to equip preschool educators with the knowledge, strategies, and confidence to better support neurodivergent children - particularly those diagnosed with autism- and to foster strong, collaborative relationships with their families. Through a combination of expert insight, reflective dialogue, and classroom-based strategies, educators will explore both the medical and educational perspectives of neurodivergence.

Each participant has the opportunity to earn up to 10 hours of PD through the series. This series includes independent homework and reading between training sessions.

This training is a closed training to the Addison Network. To attend this training, please join the network by emailing Su White and Linda January at su@quarryhillschool.org and Linda@ottercreekcc.org
