Targeted Strategies to Support Inclusion of Children with Disabilities August 19, 2025
This ePyrmaid Learning Community (PLC) will support participants' understanding of the content they acquire from completing the Targeted Strategies for Successful Inclusion of Children with Disabilities ePyramid course. Through facilitated discussion participants will further understand and reflect on the main areas of inclusion:
- 1) General Classroom Strategies to Support Inclusion
- 2) Maximizing the Number of Learning Opportunities - Routines Within Routines
- 3) The Power of Peers: Peer-Mediated Instruction
- 4) Data and Data-Based Decision Making
- 5) Evidence-based Interventions: Individualized Supports
- Child Development & Learning
- Developmentally Appropriate & Inclusive Practices
- Curriculum & Learning Environments
- Observation & Assessment
- Professionalism & Ethical Practice
- Infant/Toddler
- Preschool/PreK
- School-Age
- Program Directors/Managers
This group will meet every other Monday at 1:00 pm ET for 1 hour. This series includes 6 sessions. Mark you calendar with the dates below: September 8th September 22nd, October 6th, October 20th, November 3rd and November 17th
Intended training participants include those who work with and care for young children and their families in Vermont. Participants should complete the Pyramid Model Preschool modules before participating in this group.
