The Peace Table: Conflict Resolution in the PreK Classroom September 19, 2022
Peaceful conflict resolution in the early childhood classroom is working through a problem or conflict in a way that does not physically, emotionally, or socially hurt anyone involved. It provides children with opportunities to feel competent in handling situations and relationships. It fosters respect for the self and other people and cares for new ideas. During this workshop, participants will learn strategies to facilitate conflict resolution in their classroom setting.

PLEASE READ BEFORE PURCHASING TICKETS: The workshop is designed for participants to form a sense of community. This can only happen when attendees are open to sharing their experiences, reflections, and ideas. Many organizations provide professional development for early childhood educators. Suppose you are seeking professional development only to obtain a certificate for credit hours. In that case, this workshop may not be the right fit. Workshop attendees are asked to be active participants throughout the entire session. This involves having your camera on for at least part of the session, taking an active role in small group conversations, and being fully present during the entire session. Please note: Ticket purchases are non-refundable. There are NO refunds, credits or exchanges. All virtual workshops are taught in a live format in the Eastern Time Zone (EDT). They will not be recorded. Each person participating (viewing) the workshop needs to purchase a ticket.
