Participants in this overview of the Toddler CLASS will identify how effective teacher-child interactions help toddlers: • build autonomy • begin to regulate behavior • make connections to support their learning • expand their language and communication skills Participants will analyze videos of interactions in toddler classrooms, reflect on the interactions in their own classrooms, and identify teaching practices to sustain and those to increase.
