Understanding Fetal Alcohol Syndrome July 18, 2024
Participants will learn the differences between FAS and NAS (Neonatal Abstinence Syndrome) and how to create a safe learning, caring environment for the child. Immediate effects to the unborn child and those that last through a lifetime will be discussed. Through understanding FAS the caregiver will learn tools to assist with identifying FAS and teaching coping skills to the child while facilitating an adaptive environment.
