Values in Action: Leading Early Childhood into the Future May 1, 2020
Now more than ever, the early childhood field is being called upon to highlight and preserve the values that will lead children and families toward a brighter tomorrow. In this session, we take a closer look at values-driven leadership and we expand our understanding of why being aware of our beliefs is important to advancing our work with children and families. By the end of the session, participants will be able to: identify as a leader regardless of the formal role they play; uncover the core values that define their practice; highlight the ways in which their values are brought to life; examine how values and beliefs shape our approach to teaching.
