Direct Send is a simple and secure way to send documents to the Northern Lights at CCV team for entry into your BFIS account. Direct Send brings added clarity and convenience to each stage of the document entry process, allowing you to view real-time updates on the status of your documents.

How to use Direct Send
- Sign in to the Northern Lights User Portal
- From the home page, click “Submit Documents”
- Select the document type(s) that you wish to send
- Attach the relevant file(s) or photos
- Click “Submit”
Direct Send FAQs
I don’t have an account – how do I create one?
To create a Northern Lights Account, please follow the Account Creation Guide in the Northern Lights Account section of our website. If you have questions, please email northernlights@ccv.edu.
Can I use Direct Send from my phone?
Yes – Direct Send can be used via computer, phone, or tablet. If you are using a phone, you may choose to either take a photo of the document you would like to submit or attach a file from your phone.
I want to send a multi-page document – what should I do?
If you are sending a single document that contains multiple pages (e.g. a College Transcript), please merge these pages into a single PDF.
If you are sending multiple different kinds of documents (e.g. a High School Diploma, High School Transcript, and VT Orientation certificate), please send each of these files individually by selecting the appropriate material type on the Direct Send page.
